Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, perform routine custodial activities at various school sites and/or District facilities. Maintain buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily custodial tasks, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
  • Operate and maintain custodial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
  • Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and teardown of facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with other custodial staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the assigned administrator.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
