About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Rad Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures, anticipating provider needs and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, serving as a radiation expert resource and ensuring high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to resolve technical issues, ensuring reliability and quality assurance in imaging, hemodynamics, and oximetry.
  • Deliver patient care in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to sterile technique and scope of practice.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring documentation, educational needs, and plan of care are identified and agreed upon.
  • Participate in site or system teams, attending staff meetings and ongoing educational offerings to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current RT licensure in the State of IL and current AART certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • 2-year Associate Degree from an accredited school of radiology.
  • Previous imaging experience preferred in X-ray and imaging special procedures.
