Senior Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As a Therapist for our Senior Life Solutions program, you will work with individuals aged 65 and older who are experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes associated with aging.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide services to seniors, including psychiatric physicians, RN Directors, and medical office coordinators.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, utilizing group therapy and individual sessions as needed.
• Provide compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines within designated timeframes.
• Assist with local community education and other duties as assigned.

Work-Life Balance:

• Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Licensure in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state (LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.).
• Ability to work with kindness and accountability to enhance the quality of life for patients.
