Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telehealth RN to join our team as an Acute Care Specialist in Towson, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses to work with cutting-edge technology and provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring patients using advanced equipment that measures vital signs and electrocardiogram information. As a Telehealth RN, you will interpret data from these machines to determine the best course of treatment for your patients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing basic bedside care and ensuring the comfort and safety of your patients
  • Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment used on patients and interpreting electronic displays
  • Identifying irregular telemetry readings and notifying medical team members
  • Initiating corrective action when necessary based on data from monitoring equipment

You will also be required to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Additionally, you must have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure and certification in ACLS and BLS
  • At least 2 years of experience in acute care settings
