Supervisory Fire Protection Inspector

This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in fire protection and prevention. As a Supervisory Fire Protection Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing the fire prevention program at an Air National Guard installation. This includes conducting inspections, developing and implementing fire safety plans, and providing training to personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential fire hazards and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement fire safety plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training to personnel on fire safety and prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that fire safety is integrated into all aspects of the installation's operations.
- Monitor and report on fire safety metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
- Minimum of 30 months of experience in fire protection or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including offices, facilities, and outdoor settings. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. The position also requires the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in hazardous environments.
