Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
  • BCLS
  • ACLS upon hire or one time grace period of 60 days for staff transitioning from med surge unit to progressive care unit.
  • Minimum College: Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCRN preferred
  • PALS preferred
  • TNCC preferred
  • Ability to speak Spanish
