Position Summary:

The Logistics Operations Supervisor oversees all warehouse functions.

This position, in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, ensures the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods entering the warehouse, while guaranteeing that orders are processed and dispatched punctually to the correct destinations and in the anticipated quantities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that quality and productivity standards are met, prioritizing safety.
  • Recruit, train, assess, and develop warehouse personnel.
  • Manage the supervisory functions of the assigned shift or department.
  • Monitor warehouse productivity to ensure customer schedules are adhered to and operational efficiency is optimized.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of warehouse staff to fulfill the facility's demands.
  • Allocate adequate space for stock rotation.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and implementing product loss controls.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving processes as necessary.
  • Safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with various transportation and warehouse duties related to regulatory compliance.
  • Coach and lead the warehouse team to enhance productivity and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations for the warehouse team.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle by collaborating with HR and Talent Acquisition for recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure the completion and proper execution of operational procedures.
  • Operate within labor and operational expenditure budgets.
  • Undertake additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:

  • Associate's degree with 3 to 4 years of warehouse experience and 0 to 1 year of leadership experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of warehouse experience and 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience managing budgets, including labor and operational expenditures.
  • Ability to read and interpret product codes.
  • Proficient in computer and database applications.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to operate manual and powered pallet jacks.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
  • Willingness to work any shift as required.
  • This position requires passing a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in beverage distribution, including vehicle loading and inventory forecasting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software.
  • Forklift certification.
