Radiology Technologist Assistant - Per Diem Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologic technologists with patient care and imaging procedures
  • Provide safe and compassionate care to patients of all ages
  • Follow proper patient identification processes and hospital policies
  • Assist with scheduling imaging exams and answering phone calls
  • Monitor and replenish department stock and linen supplies
  • Prepare and clean equipment and rooms to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with patient transport between departments and patient care units
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college or associate's degree preferred
  • Ability to work with patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures
  • Ability to use Epic, telephone, and paging systems
