Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Fisher Industries in Dickinson, ND. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing various welding duties on the manufacturing of new equipment and the refurbishing of heavy equipment in a climate-controlled shop.


Key Responsibilities
  • Basic welding and fabrication duties
  • Assist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication
  • Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, etc.
  • Practice and enforce company's safety policies
  • Read and follow blueprints
  • Maintain records and paperwork for all jobs
  • Work cooperatively with other employees
  • Follow directions of the supervisor
  • Keep the work area clean and organized
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean motor vehicle record
  • Welding skills with both stick and wire welders required
  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Experience with machining a plus
  • Occasional overnight travel required
