The Opportunity

We're seeking an API-focused Senior Software Engineer to join our tightly knit team developing groundbreaking innovations in the world of audio on the web. As a key contributor, you'll help define the future of this medium and work closely with our engineering team headquartered in New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement APIs for Adobe Podcast
  • Discover, plan, and implement integrations with other Adobe-internal services to enable rapid product development
  • Work with Adobe Research to deploy, maintain, and monitor APIs for ML models
  • Ensure the success of our API offerings through code writing, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and technical option exploration
  • Join a team with years of experience in an acute programming-style environment

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience focused on integrations and/or API services
  • Strong experience in Ruby and/or Python
  • Strong experience in automated testing and monitoring systems
  • Comfortable taking technical ownership of product initiatives
  • Extensive experience leading issue diagnosis and resolution across distributed systems
  • Comfortable pair-programming and experience on teams with thorough code review
  • Bonus: Passion for and experience with audio-related products

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
