About the Position:

We are seeking qualified individuals to join our pool of adjunct faculty instructors for Northeast State Community College. As an adjunct instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses and contribute to the academic success of our students.

Job Description:

The Tennessee Board of Regents is accepting applications for the position listing of adjunct faculty to collect a pool of qualified candidates for upcoming semesters. This posting is not a guarantee of an open position, as available positions vary and fluctuate to include classes during the day, evening, traditional, high school dual enrollment, or Career Technical Education (CTE).

Requirements:

• A master's degree in the teaching discipline or a related field is required for most areas, while some areas may require a doctorate or bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for this role.
• You must be able to travel to the Northeast State campus if selected to teach, as some positions may require on-campus instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience in higher education or related fields is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and developing inclusive course materials is also preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $35,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. The college offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
