Project Overview:

The Architect of the Capitol is embarking on various infrastructure development projects at the U.S. Capitol Building. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, develop your skills, and make a lasting impact on the nation's capital.

Compensation:

A competitive salary range of $73,628 - $145,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from conceptualization to completion
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to contractors and project stakeholders
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering
  • At least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
  • Exceptional communication and technical writing skills
