Project Overview:
The Architect of the Capitol is embarking on various infrastructure development projects at the U.S. Capitol Building. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, develop your skills, and make a lasting impact on the nation's capital.
Compensation:
A competitive salary range of $73,628 - $145,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate construction projects from conceptualization to completion
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to contractors and project stakeholders
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to achieve project goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering
- At least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Exceptional communication and technical writing skills
