Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner overnight, while also ascertaining their lodging and purchasing needs.
  • Register guests and manage the rooming chart, collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers, and make change for cash customers.
  • Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license numbers and operating credit card authorization systems.
  • Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the work shift and reconcile nightly finances and reports.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required, with past experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience with accounting procedures and administrative tasks, proficiency with computers, strong analytical mind, and attention to detail.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $15-$18.50 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
