Job Summary

As an Event Host at Boyd Gaming, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences at our entertainment events. This role involves collecting admission tickets/passes, distributing programs, and assisting guests with seating and ticketing situations. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general information about the property and its various venues to guests.
  • Ensure that guests are properly seated and late seating policies are followed.
  • Assist with guest seating and ticketing situations.
  • Distribute event programs to guests.
  • Alert management of any guest's special needs or emergency situations.

Requirements
  • Six (6) months of experience as an usher in a comparable venue is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time is necessary.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 25 pounds is required.
  • Ability to quickly read and interpret information printed on event tickets is essential.
  • Ability to assist guests in wheelchairs is necessary.
  • Alertness and ability to think and act quickly in emergency situations are required.
