Port Worker

We are seeking a skilled Port Worker to join our team at Alltex Staffing & Personnel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the loading and unloading of cargo from vessels and trains in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a physically demanding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role, preferably as a Longshoreman, and will possess a valid Driver's License and/or State ID.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and will be able to lift up to 20 pounds and engage/disengage automatic locks (15-20 lbs.). They will also be required to communicate verbally and/or use hand signals, and may be required to handle tools and/or lashing materials.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
