Mill Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mill Operator to join our team at Entegee. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating milling machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direction of an assigned Mill Operator to receive run sheets and verbal instructions.
  • Master the annealing process, setting up mills, welding, and basic mill operations, including wall changes, size changes, line marking, and quality assurance.
  • Make routine adjustments to mill and peripheral equipment, including adjusting seam location and modifying temperature.
  • Monitor and adjust straightener as required.
  • Perform various post-tube manufacturing processes, including cutting and deburring tubing, water testing coils, and re-cutting straight lengths off the mills.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including B shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.) and D shift (Friday-Sunday, 5:00 p.m.-5:00 a.m.).
