Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled RD&A Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong scientific and technical background, with expertise in product commercialization and production capabilities. The role will involve working in a pilot plant, owning and operating equipment, and supporting production scale-ups and commercializations.
Key Responsibilities- Field customer requests and provide solutions to meet project needs
- Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions
- Develop gold standards with culinary and subject matter experts
- Match competitive products and optimize formulations
- Execute internal processes and troubleshoot customer processes
- Coordinate customer calls and presentations with sales and culinary representatives
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize Kerry's strengths and deliver the best taste and nutrition experience for customers
- Develop and protect intellectual property by documenting research notes
- Study methods to improve food quality and safety
- Complete project requests within the required timeframe
- Employ efficient time management and assist customers with technical issues
- Conduct research and develop new and improved methods and systems for food processing, production, quality control, and packaging
- Have a depth and breadth of fundamental scientific, food safety, and regulatory knowledge
- Hold a degree in the sciences and have knowledge of problem-solving tools, raw materials, ICT programs, processing technologies, and Insight Sales
- Have strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, as well as project management expertise

The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually, based on factors such as education, work experience, certifications, location, and more.
