Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As a school-based SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their educational goals and improve their communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students, utilizing evidence-based practices and assessments.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each student, tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings to address speech and language needs, promoting effective communication and academic success.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, utilizing data-driven decision making to inform instruction.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals, ensuring that therapy services align with educational objectives.
  • Professional Development: Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support students in different environments, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
Qualifications
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Washington state SLP license, with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous school-based experience is a plus, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Professional Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
