Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families during the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Assist with cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current National Certification in area of specialty.
