We are seeking a highly skilled Neurovascular Sonographer PRN I Neuro Func I Gainesville to join our team at UF Health. As a member of our Neurodiagnostics department, you will perform quality diagnostic Transcranial Doppler studies in both in-patient and out-patient environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Neurovascular procedures under the supervision of the Director, Lead Technologist, and staff physicians.
- Conduct advanced procedures, such as Sickle Cell Protocol and Embolic Detection with bubbles, as competencies are completed.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, assuming a leadership role when required.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program (AS equivalent or higher).
- A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as ECHO/Vasc/TCD Technologist with experience in pediatric and adult populations.
- Health Care Provider BLS certification (American Heart, American Red Cross).
