Job Summary

Human Development Services of Westchester, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Program Officer to join our executive management team. As a critical member of our leadership team, the Chief Program Officer will be responsible for guiding multiple teams with comprehensive responsibilities, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage multiple teams with diverse responsibilities, including program operations, quality improvement, and revenue cycle management
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure alignment with organizational vision and mission
  • Develop and manage budgets, grants, and proposals to secure funding for programs and services
  • Represent the organization as a community liaison and advocate for human services
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and government agencies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, leadership, and supervision
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and securing funding
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Medicaid billing environments and with electronic health records
