Solar Finance Specialist

Sungage Financial is revolutionizing the residential solar industry by offering a consumer-friendly approach to going solar. We're seeking a skilled Solar Finance Specialist to join our remote team in O'ahu, HI. The ideal candidate is a flexible and enthusiastic problem solver who thrives in a small-team environment and is motivated by a desire to help customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional support to installers and customers by resolving or escalating customer inquiries (phone and email)
  • Be the expert on-the-line for all inquiries about Sungage's product offerings
  • Manage the day-to-day flow of projects towards funding
  • Educate installers and customers about Sungage Financial products and platform
  • Check project documents for accuracy and compliance with product requirements
  • Accurately prepare documents for submission to financing partners
Requirements:
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking
  • Outstanding customer service skills - a passion for helping solve problems
  • Ability to establish priorities and proactively resolve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills over multiple platforms (phone, email, chat, etc.)
  • Flexibility and problem-solving skills with a dedication to always getting it right
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong desire to learn about renewable energy finance models and the solar energy market
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Cloud-based software (Salesforce, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Experience working on a small, collaborative team
  • Willingness to work occasional Saturdays and flexible evenings (1 Saturday per quarter)
  • COVID-19 vaccinated
