Job Summary

HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join their team on a travel nursing assignment. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any changes or complications
  • Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, preferably in a travel nursing setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
