Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $68,000 - $80,000 based on industry standards for LPNs in the Wilton area.
Job DescriptionThis role involves coordinating patient care following established standards of practice within state and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as knowledge of medical terminology.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize patient schedules, greet patients, and document their concerns and questions.
- Assist with specimen collection and testing, and accurately document patient vital signs and weight.
- Provide minor treatment as directed by physicians and assist with procedures.
- Educate patients about their health conditions and medications.
- Document all patient-related activities at the end of each shift.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in CT.
- Maintains a minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
