**About the Role**

Are you interested in a career in law enforcement but do not meet the qualifications to become a police officer with the St. Louis County Police Department? Consider applying for an open enrollment recruit position at the County and Municipal Police Academy.

This position offers a unique opportunity to train and develop the skills necessary to become a police officer. As a trainee, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that covers various aspects of law enforcement, including:

  • Police procedures and protocols
  • Law enforcement techniques and strategies
  • Emergency response and crisis management
  • Community policing and relations

Upon completion of the training program, you will be eligible to apply for a police officer position with the St. Louis County Police Department or other law enforcement agencies.

**Requirements**
