Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate batch processing equipment, including blenders, storage tanks, pumps, bulk loading and packaging systems, forklifts, etc.
  • Process Batches: Process batches according to product manufacturing procedures and equipment standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Enter Batch Data: Enter batch data into Company software for products and raw materials, and document batch data on batch sheets and material records.
  • Verify Raw Material Availability: Verify raw material availability and inform the Production planner of any discrepancies.
  • Blend Scheduled Products: Blend scheduled products according to the process order specifications and customer requirements.
  • Carry Out Packaging Requirements: Carry out all packaging requirements as per schedule and customers' needs.
  • Prepare and Inspect Semi-Bulk Tanks: Prepare and inspect semi-bulk tanks prior to filling.
  • Load and Unload Bulk Trucks and Trailers: Load and unload all bulk trucks and trailers with inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Provide Problem-Solving Input: Provide problem-solving input for production issues.
  • Sample Product Quality Control: Sample product Quality Control Lab approval.
  • Arrange for Bulk Loading and Unloading: Arrange for bulk loading and unloading times.
  • Label Packaged Goods: Label all packaged goods with the correct labels.
  • Write Near Miss Incidents: Write near miss incidents.
  • Stage Raw Materials and Transfer Chemicals: Stage raw materials and transfer chemicals into vessels, trucks, totes, drums, etc.
  • Inform Foreman of Equipment Repairs: Inform the Foreman of equipment repairs needed and write maintenance request forms.
  • Maintain Good Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping and assist with inventory counting.
  • Abide by Safety Procedures: Abide by all safety procedures and practices applicable to the location and position, participate in appropriate safety training, demonstrate commitment to and support of EH&S principles and values, and champion safety as necessary.
Requirements
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in a Production/Chemical Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Chemical Movement and Handling: Experience with chemical movement and handling, including bulk trucks and various packages.
  • Experience with TDG and Segregation of Dangerous Goods: Experience with TDG, segregation of dangerous goods, and safe handling of chemicals.
  • Working Knowledge of Transportation Methods: Working knowledge of various transportation methods, including bulk trucks.
  • Strong Commitment to Safety and Quality Standards: Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Strong Team Player and Collaboration Skills: Strong team player and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to Lift/Move 55 Pounds: Must be able to lift/move 55 pounds.
  • English Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience (Sit Down) - company will provide certification upon transition.
Employment Specifics
  • Pay Rate: Pay $16/hr. bump to $16.50/hr. after forklift certification and bump to $18.32/hr. upon transition.
  • Location: Location - Waller, TX just off 290.
  • Hours: Hours - Day Shift 5AM to 3PM, this is a 7/24 operation with opportunity for lots of overtime.
