Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transportation Coordinator to join our team at InnovAge. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting our frail senior patients to and from our Day Centers and appointments.

Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from Day Centers and appointments in a safe and responsible manner
  • Load and unload patients in and out of vehicles, assisting with simple tasks as needed
  • Deliver in-home meals, supplies, and medications to patients, ensuring accurate delivery
  • Participate in the formulation of Plans of Care for InnovAge PACE program participants
  • Assist other drivers with loading and unloading patients and maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicles
Requirements
  • Previous DOT and Defensive Driving experience
  • One year of experience working with the frail or elderly
  • Valid state-issued Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement
  • At least 21 years of age with a good driving record
  • 6 months experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of how to use and maintain vehicle equipment
  • Experience transporting the elderly
