Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health status and provide direct and indirect nursing care
- Analyze and interpret data to make informed judgments related to patient care
- Evaluate outcomes of nursing interventions and initiate changes in care plans
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other care team members to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Administer immunizations and medications, and perform other procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care and patient communication
- Provide health education to individuals and families to promote patient self-management and self-empowerment
- Communicate with members of the patient's care team outside of the health center as needed
- College Degree from an accredited school of nursing, current license to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to function effectively as a leader and a member of a team, and to work independently
- Ability to work in a culturally-diverse environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Approaches work with a positive attitude and a focus on problem-solving
- Maintains a high level of customer service with both patients and coworkers
- Possesses strong critical thinking skills and can prioritize and address many competing demands
