Pediatrician Opportunity in Michigan's Upper Peninsula

We are seeking a dedicated pediatrician to join our single-physician outpatient clinic located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, offering an exceptional work-life balance and a unique opportunity to serve a close-knit community.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing a moderate patient load averaging 20 patients per day, and participating in call coverage shared with Family Practice, Marquette Pediatrics, and APP coverage. Inpatient admissions are limited to 1-2 times a week, and deliveries average 20-25 per month, with 7-10 C-sections per month. The physician will also attend high-risk deliveries, averaging 2 per month, within a 20-mile radius of a NICU without requiring ride-along assistance.
Our clinic is equipped with Meditech hospital system, providing seamless integration with the nearby hospital (25-bed Critical Access), ER, Ambulance, Outpatient, and Inpatient services. Each provider has their own designated nurse (LPN) based on patient volumes, ensuring efficient workflow management.
The office is open Monday through Friday, and the physician sees patients four and one-half days per week, totaling 36 patient contact hours. Patients are booked at 15 and 30-minute increments with some overbooking for acute problems, allowing for flexibility and adaptability.
A portion of the schedule is allocated for same-day appointments, prioritizing patient convenience and satisfaction.
Compensation PackageThe estimated annual salary for this position ranges between $250,000 to $300,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
