Recreation Aide

Job Summary: The Town of Zebulon, NC is seeking a Recreation Aide - Athletics to perform routine work such as locking and unlocking facilities for athletic practices and games. This position requires excellent customer service skills, basic working knowledge of major sports, and ability to establish effective working relationships with the public and Town staff.

The estimated salary for this position is $15.00 hourly. The flexible, year-round work schedule is pre-determined monthly, including weekday evenings, Saturdays, and/or Sundays.

This role involves performing various tasks such as acting as the first point of contact for the general public while at Town parks and facilities, handling difficult situations involving players, coaches, and spectators during assigned shifts, ensuring scheduled games and practices begin and end on time, and enforcing Town of Zebulon/Town of Zebulon Parks and Recreation policies.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can communicate effectively both orally and in writing, has experience in customer service, and is able to work in various weather conditions.
