Optician

At Visionworks, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Licensed Optician to join our team. As a key member of our optical department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction with their eyewear purchases, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure a perfect fit.
• Ensure accurate measurements and verification of ordered products to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispensing area, adhering to company standards and protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies to provide exceptional customer service.

• Current New York State Ophthalmic Dispensing License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in optical software.
