Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Residential Cleaning Specialist to contribute to the exceptional standards at a prominent Palm Beach estate. This full-time, year-round position is ideal for those with a background in luxury service, such as Chief Stews or Yacht Crew, who are transitioning to a land-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily and thorough cleaning of the residence as per the schedule established by the House Manager, ensuring consistent communication throughout the day.
  • Execute routine housekeeping tasks adhering to detailed checklists and standard operating procedures, while accommodating the family's preferences and maintaining five-star service standards.
  • Prepare and refresh family and guest accommodations with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of specialized cleaning techniques for a variety of fine materials, including antiques, artwork, crystal, china, silver, brass, marble, and luxury linens.
  • Organize and maintain wardrobes, ensuring that personal items are stored appropriately and returned to the correct family member. Assist with packing and unpacking as needed.
  • Monitor and manage supply levels, notifying the Executive Housekeeper when reorders are necessary.
  • Maintain the laundry, storage areas, and garage in an orderly manner, ensuring supplies are rotated effectively.
  • Run errands as required by the household.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a private residence or high-end hotel, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient cleaning abilities, particularly in the care of fine furnishings and materials.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in both quiet and bustling household environments.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is essential.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, embodying hospitality standards.

Work Schedule:

This position typically requires five days of work per week, with hours varying based on family presence, guest visits, and special events. Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays is expected, with potential for six-day work weeks.
