Senior Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cook to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring that all food is nutritious and properly flavored.

• Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes and guidelines.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use, and perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy, and maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply, and comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.
• Assist the Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Assist in the cross-training of employees and perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous banquet cook experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
