Job Title: Virtual Desktop Administrator

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled Virtual Desktop Administrator to join our Global End User Services (EUS) organization. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and progressing our Global Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage VMware Horizon Connection Server 8.X and VMware Horizon Virtual Desktops and Applications 8.X
  • Experience with Server 2019+ and virtualization systems such as VMWare VSphere
  • Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify issues and provide solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to VMware environments
  • Automate and streamline operations with scripting and other tools
  • Collaborate with software developers and other IT staff to ensure the successful implementation of company applications
  • Patching and updating operating systems and apps
  • Ability to check the health of Hosts and VM objects in vCenter
  • Providing end-user support and troubleshooting for customers across the globe
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a VMWare or VDI Administrator
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure and Virtualization including VMware vSphere 7, VMware Horizon View 8.x, Storage Solutions, Windows Server, Active Directory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, and manage competing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience recommended
