Job Description

Texas Home Medical, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Respiratory Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers by providing exceptional service and support.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,000 - $62,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

  • This full-time position involves coordinating the delivery of respiratory care services and equipment to patients in their homes.
  • You will be responsible for communicating with referral sources, patients, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will enable you to excel in this role.
  • You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to resolve any issues that may impact processing timelines and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of respiratory care services and equipment to patients in their homes
  • Communicate with referral sources, patients, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and process customer accounts
  • Verify Medicare and private insurance coverage information and maintain expertise of insurance requirements
  • Sell patients on the benefits of CPAP and BILEVEL devices
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions within the expected time limits; follow-up to ensure resolution

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information (HIPAA)
  • Ability to multi-task along with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong self-motivation and time-management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
