Job Description

We are seeking a Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Prosthetic & Orthotic Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our accounts payable process, including reconciling processed work, charging expenses, and paying vendors.

  • Responsible for all accounting work necessary to ensure accounts payable are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.

A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures is essential for success in this role. Experience with Quickbooks and proficiency in MS Word and Excel are also required.

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year
