Server Assistant

Job Summary

As a Server at KW Property Management & Consulting, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This role requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a helpful and service-oriented approach at all times
• Present menus and assist customers in selecting food and beverage options
• Clearly communicate menu items and daily specials to diners
• Make recommendations to customers and answer questions regarding menu items
• Listen intently to customer orders and accurately communicate them to the kitchen for preparation
• Possess a good memory to clearly convey ingredients from menu items and food and drink specials
• Deliver food to customers in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the hostess, bartenders, cooks, and runners to create a pleasant dining experience
• Set up tables before, during, and after shifts to prepare for the next diners
• Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Use professional language at all times with customers
• Accurately calculate bills, present checks to customers, and process payment methods efficiently

Work Environment

This position operates in a fast-paced restaurant setting with a loud noise level. The employee may be exposed to hazards, including cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include regular talking and hearing, as well as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 pounds may be required.

Requirements

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state regulations
• Prior server experience
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• High school diploma or food safety training
