Job Title: Network on Chip Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Network on Chip Architect to join our team at PER International. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and scalable interconnect architectures for our clients in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with system architects to design and develop interconnect architectures that meet performance, power, and implementation requirements.
  • Lead the creation of NoC interconnect and memory system architectures, focusing on enhancing power efficiency, performance, and implementation.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of system-level performance trade-offs, system architecture, memory subsystems, and various memory technologies.
  • Engineer and implement NoC interconnect solutions for automotive applications, ensuring functionality, refining designs, and meeting performance and system requirements.
  • Ensure all designs comply with automotive industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
  • Work closely with the DV team to meticulously verify RTL designs.
  • Assist the software team in resolving issues related to NoC interconnect and Memory Systems.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of computer architecture, microarchitecture, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of automotive requirements and standards, including ISO 26262.
  • Over 10 years of relevant design experience, with expertise in architecture, RTL design, performance analysis, and power optimization.
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing interconnect solutions for automotive applications.
  • Experience in developing fail-operational interconnect architectures for functional safety.
  • Familiarity with recent ARM processor architectures and microarchitectures is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AMBA AXI, CHI, and LPDDR4/5 interfaces and protocols is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and debugging skills.
