Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide exceptional care to individuals in our residential homes. The LPN will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents, assisting with their daily needs and promoting a positive living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document resident care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Valid LPN license for the state of Maryland is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working as an LPN in a caregiving setting, preferably with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

Physical Demands
