Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and production standards, ensuring timely completion of all orders.
- Oversee hourly food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll management, training, and performance evaluations.
- Store food in designated areas, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and workstations, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
- Engage with customers to address concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of daily menu items and effectively communicate them to team members and customers.
- Manage peak production and service periods efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and product deliveries, tracking usage and waste, and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
