Civil Litigation Attorney

High Stack Gordon, a leading Florida law firm, is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Associate to join our Melbourne office. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in handling all stages of a case, from meeting clients to prosecuting litigation and providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various issues related to litigation cases
• Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, trials, and other legal proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and obligations
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 0-5 years of experience in litigation, civil or otherwise
• Active license to practice law in Florida
• Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear and concise advice
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• A willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
