Job Summary

We're seeking a Construction Specialist to join our Northern California team. As a Construction Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects, fostering teamwork, efficiency, and clear communication with project team members, including contractors, agencies, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with project documentation and ensure timely processing and retrievability.
  • Support other office technicians and administrative staff as needed.
  • Maintain organized and complete records and procedures for the project.
  • Process all documents and work logs, including weekly statements of working days, submittals for review, information requests, change orders, payments, payment estimates, and project contingency balances.
  • Monitor and schedule necessary construction staking/surveys, field and material inspections, and preliminary, acceptance, and specialty testing as required throughout the contract.
  • Assist with maintaining as-built drawings for change order updates and ensure field staff updates as-built drawings as required.
  • Support the project lead in preparing final project closeout documents, including the resolution of potential claims.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of construction experience, with supervisory experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with equipment used for inspection, surveying, and construction office engineering management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Compensation

Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators that vary by year and employee.
