Scenic Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Scenic Carpenter to join our team at Drape Kings, a leading provider of event services. As a Scenic Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of theatrical sets, working closely with our team to bring our clients' visions to life.

• Design and build theatrical sets, including flats, using a variety of materials and techniques.
• Collaborate with our design team to interpret and execute scale drawings and plans.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Lead and manage day crews, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the live event environment, including audio, video, lighting, and other aspects of the industry.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in scenic carpentry or a related field.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
