About This Role

Talencia LLC is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join their team at The Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque.

Job Summary

This 13-week contract opportunity offers an exciting chance to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-notch care and support to patients. As a COTA, you will be responsible for assisting occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans, promoting patient independence, and enhancing overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including activities of daily living, transfer training, and mobility exercises
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and goals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
