Position Overview

Are you eager to embark on a journey in the Construction Skilled Trades? Join Essel's Construction Pathway Program and take the first step towards a rewarding career.

We are seeking dedicated and dependable individuals to become part of our team. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. You will engage in various construction projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing construction sites and managing the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at job sites
  • Constructing and dismantling barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding
  • Assisting with traffic management and flagging duties
  • Supporting skilled tradespeople while acquiring new skills.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to participate in training as needed
  • Reliability and dependability are essential
  • Must be responsive to communication regarding project opportunities
  • Availability for a full-time W2 role, Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime and weekend work
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are crucial
