Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues, as well as offer crisis intervention and support when needed.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving classroom management and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Facilitate communication between the school, parents, and external mental health professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans, staying current with research and best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • A Master's or Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active teaching certification with a School Psychologist endorsement in Ohio, with licensure optional.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting is preferred, with strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and administrators.
  • Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development, with a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
Benefits
  • Guaranteed weekly hours and an hourly rate of $40-$50, consistent across direct/indirect hours and planning periods.
  • School hours with a clinical/technical team available for support.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $83,200 - $104,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $40-$50.
