Responsibilities:- Provide patient-focused nursing care to acutely ill or injured patients, utilizing the core nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating.
- Ensure patient care is holistic, compassionate, and meets both clinical and spiritual/emotional needs.
- Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
- Implement care plans, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Act with a sense of urgency when necessary and apply assessment skills to recognize critical care needs.
- Promote safety initiatives and follow safety policies, regulatory standards, and infection control policies/guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
- Perform essential job functions within scope of practice and maintain awareness of current policies and procedures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency room care.
- Successful completion of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas.
- Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Other experience in critical care setting preferred.
- Competitive pay.

- Low patient to nurse ratios.
- Embroidered scrubs.
