Speech Therapy Assistant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Therapy Assistant to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services to students in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based treatment plans under the supervision of the SLP, ensuring that students receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance communication skills in students and promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide therapy services in individual and group settings, adapting to the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or equivalent.
  • Valid California license or eligibility for SLPA licensure.
  • Prior experience in educational or clinical environments is highly desirable.
