POSITION SUMMARY:
The ICU Staff Nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, employing nursing methodologies to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
This role operates within the established policies and procedures of Piedmont HealthCare, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and accountability.The Staff Nurse is tasked with upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing services.
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of an accredited nursing program is essential.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
New graduates from nursing programs are encouraged to apply.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is mandatory.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred qualifications include advanced certification in a relevant specialty area and a Bachelor's degree. Experience in a hospital environment is also advantageous.
