Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in serving clients with diverse tax and business services needs year-round.

• Build year-round client relationships and provide tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services.
• Create confidence in our clients by conducting tax interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Grow your tax expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.

• 5+ years of tax experience, including experience completing individual tax returns and tax planning and audit support.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and virtually, with comfort working with virtual tools such as video conferencing and chat.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment and successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1 or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
